We have a staff agronomist that custom formulated our fertilizer based on soil tests in the Oklahoma City area to maximize the results for the turf growing in the OKC area. By formulating our own fertilizer we are able to make adjustments to our lawn fertilization program based on current conditions in the area.
The N-P-K numbers on a fertilizer bag represent the three key nutrients your lawn needs: Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K).
For Oklahoma lawns, the ideal N-P-K ratio depends on your grass type. Because Oklahoma soils are often clay-based and naturally rich in phosphorus, using fertilizers with low phosphorus is generally recommended.
